Reduce Suffering and Enhance Health Worldwide
Through Traditional and Integrative Therapies
First Medicines is a organization with a mission to reduce suffering and enhance health worldwide through traditional and integrative therapies.
We help individuals marshal innate resources, either through belief or spiritual perspective, with mind/body or lifestyle tools ranging from meditation and hypnosis to massage and reiki, to gardening and the arts.
Our first focus is the alleviation of pain and suffering for those living with or dying from illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, Cancer, MS, and other serious illnesses, plus the impact of their treatments.
We train individuals in self-care tools and strategies that can help them remain comfortable, strong, and healthy longer. We provide private therapies and group programs through our practitioners network.
We also offer training programs for providers and caregivers to help them maximize the effectiveness of their interventions through the natural inclusion of these tools.
